Behavioral Modification: Please contact us for a referral to a behaviorist or another trainer if you are seeking help with dog or human aggression, separation anxiety, or another serious behavioral concern. Austin Dog Sports offers reward-based obedience training. We do not handle behavior modification for serious behavioral concerns.
Shy and Fearful Dogs: If your dog is extremely shy, dog sports may be a wonderful option to get them interacting more with you and your environment. Some shy dogs may require more foundation work before they can comfortably work in a group environment or can enjoy a dog sport. We can recommend some wonderful trainers who do foundation obedience work with shy and fearful dogs.
